The Ghost was built in 2020 from a beetle killed Ponderosa pine showing 142 rings (born in 1878). It was harvested and dried in 2016 near Basalt, on Colorado’s western slope. The trunk end, center cut, 2″ all the way to the bark were used, with just a touch of outer bark visible on the lower bought.
The design and pieces used went through several iterations.
